As an Inpatient Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication dosing and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Medication Management: Ensure accurate and timely administration of medications, adhering to hospital protocols and guidelines.
- Patient Care: Provide exceptional patient care, addressing concerns and questions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize treatment plans.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements
- Certifications: Current BLS and RPh certifications; State licensure required.
- Skills: Inpatient/acute care, anticoagulants, cardiac dosing, clinical dosing, geriatric dosing, high-risk medications, pediatric dosing, pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, therapeutic med monitoring, warfarin dosing, antibiotics, compounding, hyperalimentation, IV piggyback, IV push medications, mixers for TPN, sterile technique, carousel system, Pyxis.
- Experience: At least one year of experience as an Inpatient Pharmacist.
