Overview of the Role
We are seeking an experienced respiratory therapist to fill a 13-week assignment in New Haven, CT. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in adult critical care and possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. This position involves working a 4, 12-hour shift from 7pm to 7am and requires the ability to provide patient care and support in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
As a respiratory therapist in this assignment, you will be responsible for providing patient care and support as needed. This includes but is not limited to: performing respiratory treatments, conducting ABG analysis, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, weaning patients from mechanical ventilation, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
