JOB TITLE: PC Tech/Help Desk

CONTRACT DURATION: 26 Weeks

LOCATION: Newport News, VA

SHIFT: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30PM ; times may can vary

ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 2 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.

Job Description:

The PC Technician I performs general Help Desk and PC Tech duties by providing courteous technical expertise on the telephone or in person for reported hardware or software problems. The Tech will assist and coordinate support across multiple Information Systems departments to include but not limited to IS Telecom, Network, Server, Email, Workday, and iCare teams.

· Connecting and Cable Managing PCs

· Imaging PCs and software setup after imaging

· Printer connections and setup

· Documenting setups and PCs names

· Technical Support during opening of locations

· Travel in personal vehicle will be required due to the nature of construction, picking up items from our information systems building and taking them on site, or traveling to a different construction site for setup during the 6 or so months.

• Mileage reimbursed per IRS
• Daily travel and typically at one site at 3 weeks at a time

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma
• Associates Degree within an IT Discipline
• 1 Years of Helpdesk/PC Tech experience
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• 1 Year of Help Desk Experience within a Healthcare Setting Preferred

· Resume with last seven years of work history if applicable - all work history gaps of 90 days must be explained.

· Copy of diploma for highest level of completed education.

· Two manager/supervisor references who you have worked with in the last two years.

· Upcoming requested time off for the duration of the contract.

· Interview availability for the next 7-10 days.

· Documentation of Covid vaccination or medical/religious exemption.
