About the Role:
- This is a 13-week assignment with a competitive pay rate of $2487/week - $2680/week
- The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a NICU setting and hold current certifications in BLS, NRP, RRT, and state licensure
- Strong knowledge of adult critical care, emergency department, and transport medicine is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU department, including ventilation management, oxygen therapy, and aerosol administration
- Assist in intubation, extubation, and tracheostomy procedures
- Monitor and interpret arterial blood gases, capillary blood gases, and other lab results
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient plans
