Job Summary:
This position requires a strong understanding of sterilization procedures, including manual cleaning, proper labeling, and the use of ultrasonic cleaners and washers/sterilizers. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to optimize equipment maintenance and repair, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect medical equipment using established protocols
- Prepare and sterilize equipment using specialized equipment, including ultrasonic cleaners and washers/sterilizers
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning and sterilization procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize equipment maintenance and repair
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in sterile processing or related field
- Knowledge of sterilization procedures, regulations, and industry standards
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
