We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Tech to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and operate nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and scanners
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
- Collect and analyze data from imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records of patient information and test results
Requirements:
- BLS certification
- State license to practice as a nuclear medicine tech
- ARRT N and NMTCB certifications
- Experience with GE and Siemens equipment
- Knowledge of nuclear cardiology, gastric emptying, HIDA scan, Muga scan, 3 phase, limited, whole body, cerebral blood flow, liver flow, liver imaging, liver scan-hemangioma, perfusion, flow/function, with lasix, I-123 uptake scan, uptake scan, whole body, bone, brain, renal, sestamibi parathyroid scan, exercise/rest-multiple, exercise/rest-single, pharmacological stress, drawing venous blood, isolation precautions, start and maintain peripheral IV, storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
