Aya Healthcare is currently seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, WA.
Job Summary: This role involves providing high-quality patient care in adult critical care and emergency department settings. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience and possess strong skills in ventilator management, airway placement, and pulmonary hygiene.
About the Role:
- Provide respiratory care services to patients with various respiratory conditions, including ARDS, pneumonia, and cystic fibrosis.
- Manage ventilators, including troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation.
- Perform arterial blood gas interpretation and chest physiotherapy using vests.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans.
Requirements:
- BLS and RRT certifications.
- Experience in adult critical care, emergency department, and NICU settings.
- Familiarity with equipment such as aerosol set up mask, T-piece, trach collar, bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, and High frequency jet ventilator.
