Compassionate and skilled Home Healthcare Caregiver to provide non-medical care to our clients in Columbia, Charleston, Rockhill, or Greenville, South Carolina. Our ideal candidate will be able to provide care that is focused on promoting independence, safety, and quality of life for our clients.
CNA Responsibilities :
Provide personal care services to clients in their homes, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary
Provide physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, – using the toilet, walking, standing
Turn and reposition bedridden patients.
Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Document client care activities accurately and timely
Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements.
Note observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure.
CNA Requirements :
Basic Health and Tuberculosis Screening
1 years’ work experience
Requirement for job duties able to lift up to 50lbs
HHA and CNA Certification (REQUIRED)
Current CPR (American Heart Association) (REQUIRED)
Ability to think and work independently and with direction and communicate with staff members in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Valid Driver’s License (NOT REQUIRED)
