Jira Administrator
Location: San Jose (on site)
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Jira Administrator to join our growing team. You will play a critical role in ensuring the effective utilization of Jira across various teams, optimizing workflows, creating insightful dashboards, and providing support to users. This role requires a deep understanding of Jira administration, best practices, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Essential Functions:
- Jira Administration: Manage and maintain our Jira instance.
- Workflow Design and Implementation: Design, create, and modify Jira workflows.
- Dashboard Creation and Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports.
- User Support and Training: Provide training and support to Jira users.
- Best Practices and Governance: Establish and enforce Jira best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to improve Jira.
- Automation: Implement automation rules.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience as a Jira Administrator, with a deep understanding of Jira's features and functionalities.
- 2 years of experience in designing and implementing complex Jira workflows.
- Proficiency in creating dashboards and reports using Jira's built-in reporting tools and/or other reporting plugins.
- Experience with Jira administration tasks, including user management, project setup, and permission schemes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with scripting languages or API integrations.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Jira certifications (e.g., Atlassian Certified Professional).
Salary range: $92,000 - $118,000
