Overview
We are looking for caring and dedicated Home Health Aides to offer vital support to individuals in the comfort of their homes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and a deep commitment to improving the lives of our clients. As a Home Health Aide, you will be essential in assisting with daily activities and ensuring the overall well-being of those in your care. Please note that applicants must be certified as a Home Health Aide through the NJ Board of Nursing.
Bilingual candidates are required for this position.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8am to 12pm
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Launder clothing and linens as needed to maintain a clean-living environment.
- Support clients in mobility by lifting or transferring them safely when required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of care provided.
- Administer CPR and first aid when necessary, ensuring the safety of clients at all times.
- Collaborate with other caregivers and healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Follow established care plans and report any changes in client conditions to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly desirable.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while maintaining safety protocols.
- Knowledge of CPR techniques and willingness to maintain certification.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing medical records.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
