Ayer Valley Rehab & Nursing is looking for an Infection Control Nurse RN to fill a role at our skilled nursing home facility for a full-time shift.
The Infection Control Nurse RN will organize, develop, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, procedures. You will coordinate the systematic monitoring of causes, spread of infection, prevention, policies pertaining to isolation techniques, documentation of incidents, and corrective action related to infection and staff education.
If you are an Infection Control Nurse RN who...
- will support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives.
- establishes the documentation format for all Infection Control reporting.
- monitors the documentation by nursing personnel of incidents of infection and file for reporting and analysis.
- will analyze the incidents of infection and prepare a quarterly report reflecting the results.
- addresses patterns or trends in the incidents of infection with appropriate follow-up and corrective action and supervise the performance of the corrective procedures by designated departments or individual staff and their clinical effect.
- establishes the objectives of Infection Control education and schedule training and in-services to facilitate their attainment.
- performs other related duties as assigned by the Administrator and DON.
