Key Responsibilities:
- Process incoming vendor invoices and ensure timely payment processing.
- Assist with reconciling accounts payable statements to ensure accuracy.
- Processing daily cash receipts and customer billings.
- Maintain and organize financial records and documentation.
- Communicate with customers and vendors to resolve discrepancies or payment issues.
- Support month-end closing procedures related to payables and receivables.
- Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activity.
- Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the accounting department.
- Currently enrolled in a degree program in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office Suite applications.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Previous accounting experience is a plus but not required.
