Position Profile
Citadel Health (citadelhealth.com), a subsidiary of Aylo Health, is hiring! We seek a highly skilled and motivated Senior Analyst to join our team. This role will focus on data modeling, analysis, and performance modeling, working with disparate and non-standardized data sets from various healthcare payers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare analytics, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to work independently with multiple cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have previous management consulting experience, familiarity with payer data, and experience with Lightbeam or other population health management analytics systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Analytics, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, data modeling, or performance modeling, preferably in the healthcare industry.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Excel (including Power Query and Power Pivot) and data visualization abilities such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience working with non-standardized and disparate data sets, particularly payer data.
• Proven ability to develop and present actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Experience in patient education and care coordination.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and intellectual curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain complex data models to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Analyze and interpret large, disparate data sets from multiple payers to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create performance models to evaluate and optimize healthcare operations and payer relationships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders through clear, concise reports and visualizations.
• Support ad-hoc reporting and analysis needs across the organization.
• Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reporting.
• Leverage abilities such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, and Excel to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous management consulting experience in healthcare or related industries.
• Familiarity with the Lightbeam system or similar healthcare analytics platforms.
• Experience with financial modeling and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of healthcare payer systems and data structures.
• Certification in data analytics or related fields (e.g., CMA, SQL certifications)
