Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in litigation involving cryptocurrency and digital assets.
- Handle cases related to fraud, confidence scams, pig butchering, and other nefarious conduct resulting in digital asset loss.
- Work on class action lawsuits involving exchange failures, hacks, and regulatory violations.
- Serve as counsel to receivers recovering lost digital assets.
- Advise companies on regulatory developments impacting digital asset recovery.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies for emerging crypto-related issues.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including blockchain-trained staff and forensic experts.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience in financial fraud, financial crimes, class action litigation, or securities litigation is a plus.
- Regulatory experience, including DOJ, SEC, or other government agencies, is highly valued.
- Familiarity with blockchain, cryptocurrency, and digital asset laws is a plus but not required.
- Strong legal research, writing, and litigation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
