The Senior IT Support Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, and ensuring its scalability, security, and efficiency. This hands-on role requires a proactive problem solver who can enhance existing systems, implement new technologies, and enforce IT policies to support business operations. 

 Responsibilities: 

• IT Infrastructure Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrade, and optimization of the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware;
• Project Management: Plan, execute, and monitor IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the organization's requirements;
• Security Management: Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect the organization's data and IT systems from threats and vulnerabilities;
• Vendor Management: Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to procure and manage IT products and services;
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and alignment with the organization's financial goals;
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations;
• Policy Development: Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices;
• Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of the organization's IT strategy, aligning IT initiatives with business objectives and driving innovation;
• Other duties as assigned or required. 

Key Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field;
• 5 years of proven experience in IT infrastructure management, with extensive knowledge in maintaining and optimizing servers, networks, and hardware;
• Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft365 environments, including administration, security, and integration with other IT systems;
• Demonstrated excellent judgement when executing IT projects;
• Experience with multi-OS environments: Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android;
• Strong experience in project management, with the ability to plan, execute, and monitor IT projects effectively;
• In-depth understanding of security management, including implementing and maintaining robust security measures to protect data and IT systems;
• Excellent vendor management skills, with experience in procuring and managing IT products and services;
• Strong budget management skills, with the ability to develop and manage the IT budget efficiently;
• Proven ability to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations;
• Experience in developing and enforcing IT policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices;
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and guide junior IT team members to achieve high performance;
• Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to contribute to the development of the organization's IT strategy and drive innovation;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of explaining complex IT issues to non-technical stakeholders;
• Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail;
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, rapid growth, and evolving technology environment. 

Compensation and Location:  

Salary: A base salary commensurate with experience. 

Bonus: An annual bonus will be awarded based on individual performance and the business's overall success.

Location: Hybrid (Austin, TX). Ability to work in the United States is a requirement. 

Travel: The ability to travel in the United States and Canada is a requirement.
