This position has potential to be based in either our Fort Collins, Colorado or Cheyenne, Wyoming offices.
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in community / urban planning or a closely related field.
- 1-6 years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of community planning principles, such as land use strategies, zoning and development regulations, comprehensive and long-range planning, and community engagement.
- Familiarity with local government operations, policies, and development review processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and adaptability to new applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written) with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Strong technical writing skills, with an understanding on how to custom-tailor messaging to meet the project or client needs.
- A self-starter, confident in professional capabilities, able to work effectively independently and collaboratively on a variety of project assignments.
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record.

Our good-faith compensation approach is fair and equitable, and takes into consideration only permissible factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, training, skills, and experience, and geographic location where the work is performed. A salary range for this posting is $55000 - $80000 / year. The foregoing salary range represents what the company believes, in good-faith, it will pay for the posted opportunity. The individual selected for this role will be evaluated with the compensation factors in mind and placed appropriately.
