We are hiring a Telecommunications Leader to take the lead in shaping the future of our team of project managers, engineers, designers, technical staff, and more while meeting the goals of our annual business plan. The ideal candidate will have the passion to represent Ayres to our clients while mentoring our employee-owners and grow the telecommunications team. You'll be expected to have familiarity with the Florida marketplace and be able to capitalize on client relationships and market opportunities. Your professional acumen will position you to leverage the network of various clients within the telecommunications industry.
On any given day, you'll :
- Develop the long-range strategic plan, the annual business plan, and the current year marketing plan for the group with particular emphasis on group P&L, capital purchase, and staff training.
- Be accountable for key metrics including revenue and profitability goals, workload backlog, billing, accounts receivable, monthly reporting and image development.
- Oversee the technical production of all project work, assuring conformance with the quality standards of the firm and the requirements of the contract.
- Prepare and oversee quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Act as the company representative and spokesperson in the community, as well as be active in civic and professional organizations.
- Conduct business development including client contact, marketing, and monitoring client satisfaction.
- Supervise the work activities of all project managers, engineers, technicians, and other assigned specialists.
- Supervise and manage office and field staff.
- Provide for and guide staff development.
- Understand and support corporate policies and procedures.
