We’re seeking a mid-level site/civil engineer to join our growing group, roll up their sleeves, and get to work on a variety of civil/environmental engineering and infrastructure development projects.
Join Ayres, and you’ll be working alongside a collaborative professional team focused on supporting design efforts for various government and private client projects. Your work will involve general site civil engineering, stormwater management, and water/wastewater infrastructure development. You’ll also interact and forge long-term relationships with clients and develop solutions that benefit the community as a whole.

On a given day, you’ll:
- Direct and/or design/develop plans, prepare engineering documents in accordance with the latest prevailing codes.
- Prepare and monitor project budget and be responsible for project schedules and the timely completion of projects.
- Prepare permit applications and submittals.
- Participate in presentations, interviews, and project/client meetings.
- Serve as a designated client contact.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Florida Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain within 1 year.
- 5-15 years of progressive experience designing/coordinating civil engineering projects.
- Proficient with AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office.
- Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and with other team members in multiple offices.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal codes and standards.
