On any given day, you'll:
- Assist with construction inspection on water main, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, roadway, asphalt or concrete pavement, curb and gutter, construction staking such as subgrade and base course; and other duties.
- Between construction projects, assistance with design projects and plan production would be possible. Duties would vary between Civil 3D design, plan detail drafting, quantity calculations and spreadsheet development.
- This position is expected to last from late May through late August 2024 and may require overtime and out-of-town travel (generally within 60 miles of the office).
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in civil engineering.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.
- Reliable means of transportation to travel to the office and project sites.
- Ability to work a minimum 40 hours a week.
Desired Skills and Experiences:
- Coursework or experience in construction, municipal, roadway, traffic or structural experience is beneficial.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
