Our team is seeking a dependable self-starter with strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You’ll join a close-knit, supportive team of professionals who collaborate to provide high-quality human resources support both internally and externally. Projects and job responsibilities will vary and could include working with talent acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, training and development, benefits, compensation, and employee relations. On a given day, you’ll:
- Maintain employee personnel files for active and terminated employees in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
- Aid with recruiting needs as necessary (coordinate interviews, posting of opportunities, disposition of candidates, onboarding of new hires, etc.)
- Support benefit enrollment, terminations and billing
- Assist with the creation and editing of e-learning courses
- Update job descriptions and policies in the employee handbook.
- Support in implementing a new performance management system.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to balance priorities and follow through.
- Working towards a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to work effectively across all levels within the organization and to convey a positive and professional image both internally and externally to applicants.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, along with advanced Excel skills.
