Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Competitive Youth Soccer Coach to join AYSO United. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in youth competitive soccer and a genuine love for working with children. This role is centered around building and maintaining a competitive team environment that will allow individual players to grow and develop. At AYSO United we are teaching life lessons through the thread of soccer. In addition, candidates will need to meet with parents throughout the season and be willing to handle any team related problems along the way.
Duties
- Develop and implement training sessions that focus on skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
- Teach the rules of soccer and ensure players understand the importance of fair play.
- Organize and lead practices, games while ensuring a safe environment for all participants.
- Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their skills.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding player progress and team activities.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages participation and enthusiasm for the sport.
- Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are safe and ready for use.
- Create an attractive environment in order to bring in new families to AYSO United during competitive tryout periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in competitive youth soccer.
- Background in childcare or experience working with students is highly desirable.
- Psychology or Sport Psychology background is a massive plus.
- Ability to educate young athletes on techniques and strategies effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with players, parents, and staff.
- A passion for soccer and promoting physical fitness/wellbeing among youth.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $1,000.00 - $1,100.00 per month
Expected hours: 3 – 7 per week
