Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed treatment plans.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and maintaining a clean living space.
- Document patient care activities accurately, utilizing medical terminology as needed.
- Support clients with mobility assistance and transfers as required.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients, including those in hospice care or long-term care settings.
Experience
- Previous experience in assisted living, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with patient care systems and medical terminology is advantageous.
- Certification in CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members.
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care to individuals in need.
Requirements
Valid Drivers License, CPR certification, Background check, Car insurance, willingness to travel between clients if needed
