What are the responsibilities and job description for the Student Behavioral Aide K-12 / 1:1 Teacher/RBT position at AZ Aspire Academy?
AZ Aspire Academy is a one-to-one and small group private day school for students with learning differences. We currently have five campuses across Arizona. We are looking for a Student Behavioral Aide at our Scottsdale Campus for the 2024-2025 school year that is driven and passionate about assisting students with learning differences. We run from a 7:50AM - 4:10PM time frame.
Job Duties Include:
- Providing our students with individualized care pertained to each child
- Serving as a positive and nurturing guide for students and attend to their physical, personal, academic, and emotional needs.
- Assisting teachers with student's behavioral needs within the classroom
- Collaborating with teachers, directors, and parents to find solutions and strategies to best facilitate with our student's goals & needs.
- Helping our students fill in learning gaps pertaining to executive functioning skills.
- Serving as a Paraprofessional for students who require it.
Requirements:
- Experience working with special needs children in an educational setting
- Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Experience with a wide variety of de-escalation techniques for special needs students
- Experience with a wide variety of student behaviors
Preferred Skills & Education:
- RBT Certification
- Sped Certification
- Bachelor's in SPED or a related field

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
