DESCRIPTION:
The Van Driver provides safe, courteous, and on-schedule transportation to our residents. Drivers are expected to work in conjunction with the Activities Coordinator and Transportation Coordinator to ensure that all clients can access transportation. The Driver will also represent the organization by being visible throughout the community. Residents are to be treated with respect, courtesy, and graciousness at all times. The Driver is expected to foster the best possible relations with volunteers, actual and potential residents, agency donors, and community sponsors.
The effectiveness of this position is measured by resident satisfaction surveys, supervisor feedback, and the extent to which organizational and individual goals are achieved. Fit with agency culture expectations (below) is also a factor.
Qualification Requirements:

- Must show proof of freedom from TB before client contact.
- Provide and maintain a current Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Provide and maintain a current certification in First Aid and CPR.
- Provide and maintain current Food Handlers Certification.
- Possess and maintain a valid AZ Driver's License and have reliable transportation.
- Clear a criminal background, credit check, and motor vehicle screening
- Clear the Department of Economic Security, Department of Aging and Adult Services Central Registry Background Check
- Maintain a valid AZ driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation throughout the duration of employment.
