We are seeking self motivated, ambitious professionals who want to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. We are currently recruiting for Mobile Counselors
General Job Duties:
***Provides all services in the family's home or in the community***
- MUST HAVE ACCESS TO RELIABLE TO A VEHICLE DAILY.
- Requires afternoon, evening, and some weekend work.
- Flexibility in scheduling, willingness to drive throughout the county and willingness to work within the home and communities of the families we support is required.
- Conducts comprehensive assessments and develops service plans.
- Identifies family's needs and works as a team with partner on cases.
- Evaluates family's progress using standardized assessment tools.
- Participates in staff meetings and required trainings.
- Accurately and efficiently documents all services in a timely manner.
- Conducts sessions using family systems approaches.
- Provide in home visits 1-3 times per week.
- Occasional transporting of clients and/or families may necessary in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Education:
Master’s degree in behavioral health field OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health field with five (5) years related work experience.
Minimum Experience:
- Master's Level must have at least 2 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s Level must have a minimum of five (5) years of work related experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is preferred for this position
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 39 months MVR and proof of insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Must have a Class one Fingerprint Clearance card.
- Must be a least 21 years of age.
- Must have the skills, necessary to engage and work with others from diverse ethnic and cultural groups, coupled with maintaining professionalism at all time.
- Knowledge and ability to access community resources.
- Proficiency in communication skills both verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to pass a background check including drug screen.
NOTE: Generous bonus structure available for this position.
Student loan repayment program available for qualified staff.
Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
