AZ Center for Change/Encourage Empowerment is a proven leader in the area of trauma and abuse recovery. We are seeking ambitious, passionate and dedicated trauma therapist for exciting new programs. Our work with trauma clients seeks to create a nurturing environment for clients to heal and reach their goals. We strive to create a work environment that fosters professional growth and development and job satisfaction. Chosen candidates for these new and exciting programs will have the opportunity to:
- Complete thorough assessments using standardized assessment tools.
- Create treatment plans that foster motivate to change and heal from trauma.
- Complete documentation used strength based approaches.
- Learn and implement a variety of evidence based trauma modalities to help clients heal and grow.
- Collaborate with highly effective clinical teams for better client outcomes.
- Provide individual, group, family and multifamily therapy sessions.
- Create and provide meaningful reports to external collaborators.
- Flex your schedule to meet the needs of the clients and families.
Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in mental/behavioral health or related field, and eligibility for licensing through the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiner. (Supervision toward independent license is available for our therapy positions.) LAC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW.
- Applicable candidates must have some formal specialized experience working with trauma clients.
- 2 years post graduate trauma specific training.
- A Level One Fingerprint clearance card is required.
- CPR/ 1st Aid
Certification Desired Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications listed above, candidates who have the following expertise and training are highly desirable:
- Bilingual
- Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
- EMDR -
- TF-CBT
- ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy)
- CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD)
- Sexual Abuse and Trauma
- Anger Management
Schedule is Monday-Friday with most evenings until 7pm. This is an office based position for in person services and some virtual services.

Salary : $60,000 - $75,000
