WORK SCHEDULE
This position works an 8-hour shift between our clinic hours of 7 am and 6 pm.
WHAT WOULD YOU DO AS AN ORAL HYGIENE SPECIALIST - DENTAL HYGIENIST?
As an Oral Hygiene Specialist - Dental Hygienist, you help our patients receive the care they need to have healthy, beautiful smiles. You work directly with patients at our clinic, forming a genuine connection with them as you provide services like iTero scans, x-rays, and cleanings. As you work, you communicate warmly with the patient, ensuring they're comfortable and having a positive experience. Attentive and thorough, you make notes for the dentist to review, documenting any indications of tooth decay or damage.
You believe strongly in the benefits of education and prevention, and you take the time to discuss oral hygiene practices with patients. Empathetic and tactful, you offer helpful advice and words of encouragement. Before the patient leaves, you check to make sure they understand the doctor's recommended treatment plan. You're glad you work in a dental office where your skills are valued, and you find great satisfaction in helping people smile!
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Ability to operate technology used in dentistry, including an iTero scanner and digital x-ray equipment
- Ability to educate patients about oral hygiene
