Prepare orders for custom window coverings
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare, review and submit orders for custom window coverings.
- Ability to read and understand plans, specifications & addenda.
- Perform take-offs, organize and price information.
- Communicate with suppliers to clarify pricing information.
- Communicate with vendors/suppliers on ordering questions and specs.
- Occasionally do site visits with the owner to gain better information about the potential project.
- Maintain accurate project records/order information in AZCD in house CRM.
- Assist staff members with various special projects related to estimating.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
- Create and maintain costing/ bid history data
- Must be flexible and have the ability to prioritize and multi-task.
- Works under general supervision with the ability to work independently.
- Works well with other office staff, can be a team player.
- Assist with answering phones, assisting walk in clients, and receiving deliveries of window treatments.
- Learn vendor specific ordering programs, and adjustments for each vendor on orders.
Qualifications
- Experience with ordering.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word , Excel, acrobat and Outlook.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Appropriate knowledge of construction practices and methods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
