Window Coverings Installer (Blinds, Roller Shades, Drapery, Awnings)

Window Treatment, Blinds & Shade Installer

Experience with installing and servicing motorized shades, drapery, roman shades and exterior shades window treatments is preferred. Knowledge of Lutron, Crestron, Hunter Douglas, Somfy, Soft Treatments and other manufacturers is a plus.

• We are looking for someone with positive attitude who is a motivated self starter, that has attention to detail and a good work ethic. Someone who is efficient and able to follow directions, remember day to day tasks and is skilled with small power / hand tools. The applicant should be able to work in clean residential environments, with respect of surroundings and clients. A team player with effective communication skills, positive attitude and problem solving are required.
• Prior experience installing window coverings is a plus, however any applicant with experience in finished products, cabinetry, audio visual, home theater or electrical is encouraged to apply. Hand tool experience required. Must be able to take accurate measurements, communicate effectively, and represent the company in a professional manner. All applicants must have a clean appearance, a valid driver’s license, a good driving record as company trucks are provided to transport employees to and from job sites.

Job Type: Full-time - Pay Scale Below

Pay: $17.00 - $32.00 per hour ($32/Hour with multiple years experience in window coverings).

Lead Installer- It is the leads responsibility to be able to give direction to installers and Apprentices. It is

expected a lead is able to measure product and window openings correctly/accurately. A lead must be able to

manage customers expectations and provide a professional and clean installation. A lead must have

knowledge in all products. A lead is expected to properly fill out paperwork timely and accurate. A lead must

be able to train installers, apprentices, and homeowners on how to use product. A lead must display effective

problem-solving skills. A lead is expected to provide a professional install without taking short cuts. A lead

should have solutions to problems, be able to call manufacturers and order missing/wrong product. A lead

must make sure they and their team are ready for install, and the vans are stocked and loaded with

additional supplies, tools, and controls. Must have expert knowledge in all programming of controls.

Responsible to accurately record serial numbers, and program hubs for motorized applications. A lead will

be 100% responsible to walk through an entire install and approve/adjust before turning over to the client.

Lead Installer - $26-$32 Per Hour

Installer- An installer must be able to understand and install most product alone. An installer should

understand how to complete paperwork and help fill out for others on the team. An installer is to directly

work with leads to gain more installation and product knowledge. A lead should be able to know what the

next step is, and actively pursue to achieve an efficient installation. A lead is to learn what solutions to

problems are/ develop problem solving skills on installations. An installer must know how to program all

remotes, controls, and smart apps/hubs. Can speak directly with homeowner regarding the installation/

function of product.

Installer - $21-$25 Per Hour

Apprentice- An apprentice is responsible to help set jobs up by loading product/ladders onto the vans, and

offloading at the job site. An apprentice must help keep clean at installs, work with installers & leads to gain

more knowledge, ask what's next and not wait to be told. An apprentice is expected to be actively learning

and seeking to better the quality and efficiency of every installation. An apprentice should be looking for an

installer/lead to communicate function and concerns with the homeowner.

Apprentice - $17-$20 Per Hour
