Medical Billing Specialist

Pulmonary Practice in need of a strong medical biller.

• Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• At least 1 years experience in billing.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
• Team player with strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• High School diploma

This position is NOT a remote position.

• The Medical Billing Specialist is responsible for collecting outstanding balances
• Handle inbound calls, assist patients with billing questions and help resolve any billing issues
• Research accounts with payment discrepancies and / or denied claims.
• Submit corrections, reconsiderations and appeals for claim payment.
• Medical Billing of office and hospital claims
