Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
- Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and preparing patients for examinations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical coding standards.
- Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up communications with patients.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinic environment.
- Support the administration of treatments as directed by physicians, including medication administration.
- Collaborate with internal medicine, emergency medicine, and dermatology teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Uphold safety protocols within a Level I Trauma Center setting.
Skills
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Experience in internal medicine, emergency medicine, or dermatology is preferred.
- Familiarity with coding systems for accurate documentation.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks.
