Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments prior to endoscopic procedures.
- Administer medications safely and effectively as per physician orders.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and overall condition during procedures.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments are prepared and available.
- Provide ostomy care and education to patients as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and procedure outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and recovery.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in endoscopy techniques and technologies.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
- Proven experience in acute care or urgent care settings.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, medication administration, and patient assessment techniques.
- Ability to ventilate patients when necessary during procedures.
- Experience with dermal fillers and suturing is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
