Join AZAD as an Engineering Technician you will partner with Flow Solutions Engineering to support precision product builds and testing. In this role, you will report to an Engineering Manager on the team This is a full-time consultant position based in Andover, MA with a high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. The hourly pay rate range for this position is between $35.00 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package. Essential Functions : Construct, debug, and test precision flow measurement and control instrumentationWork alongside Engineers from multiple disciplines (mechanical, electrical and firmware) to understand issues and enhance performance of precision systemsPrototype advanced electro-mechanical packaging for precision productsBuilding cable assemblies; wiring of low-voltage power and communications connectionsDesign, debug, and implement new assembly processes (including documentation)Set up tests, collect and potentially analyze dataGeneral lab organization and maintenanceThe ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications : Minimum 2 years experience or associate degreeStrong communication skills, ability to work from drawings as well as written and verbal descriptionsExperience working with precision mechanical, electrical and electromechanical assembliesProficiency with a variety of hand and small power tools, soldering stationsUse of Microsoft Excel for data analysisPreferred : Experience with standard electronics testing equipment (oscilloscope, logic analyzer, etc.) AZAD is looking for bright, talented, flexible, and customer centric problem solvers who enjoy the challenges associated with solving the most complex problems by utilizing the most sophisticated technologies and strong people skills.
