AZAD is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technician for a W2 Contract position in Morristown, New Jersey. Schedule : 5 days a week, shifts very based on department needs with weekday and weekend on-call requirements. Assignment Duration : The initial assignment length is 13-weeks with a high probability of being extended. Compensation & Benefits : The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $41.00 - $46.00, plus daily stipends, $143 Lodging and $80 Meals & Incidentals. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k. Essential Functions : Assist proceduralist during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular, neuro-interventional cases with scrubbing side by side with specialty proceduralistStrong knowledge with Floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines The ability to identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedural cases The ability to critically think during neuro-interventional cases and complex cases to assist proceduralist The ability to operate power injection of iodinated contrast media device during diagnostic and interventional procedures Strong communication skills using closed loop communication The ability to maintain sterile technique and maintain infection prevention measures to set up procedural trays for case load Positively contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of with nurses, radiologist, and vascular surgeons Knowledge of documentation in electronic medical record and send images to Sectra / PACs system Groin management post intervention Demonstrate the ability to provide high quality care in a fast-paced environment BLS from an approved AHS credentialed American heart association or a BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures Current licensure with the certification with ARRT NJ state (defined in above JD.)This role is similar to a cardiovascular technologist (CVT) but MUST have radiographic licensure to operate x-ray fluoroscopic modalities. Minimum Qualifications : 3-5 years of experience as Interventional Radiologic technologist or a Cardio-Vascular technologist with NJ radiographic licensure.Required Education : High School Diploma / GEDAssociate degree OR Completion of accredited radiographic program. Required Certifications & Licensure : NJ Radiographic LicensureBLS from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or BLS accredited with skill demonstration in basic life support measures. Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
