AZAD is seeking a Sr. AWS Cloud Architect for a W2 contract full-time position based in Austin, TX
Schedule : 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm. Monday - Friday, Hybrid
Assignment Duration : The initial assignment length is 6-months with a high probability of being extended.
Compensation & Benefits : The hourly compensation pay rate range is between $50.00 - $55.00. Benefits include Co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k.
Essential Functions :
Understand business objectives and problems, identifies alternative solutions, performs studies and cost / benefit analysis of alternatives
Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer systems.
Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
Write detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
Review computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
Minimum Qualifications :
10 years' experience in cloud engineering with at least 5 years focused on core AWS services
5 years' experience automating deployments using CI / CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ansible and similar tools
4 years' experience with serverless architecture
4 years' experience designing and implementing high availability and fault tolerant systems.
4 years' experience with monitoring tools, including cloudwatch, Prometheus, Grafana, and splunk
Preferred :
Experience in containerization, proficient with ECS, EKS, and / or fargate
