Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage staff training schedules to ensure adequate knowledge across all departments.
- Maintain up to date staff training.
- Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate effective communication and education regarding patient needs.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new staff members, providing necessary training on protocols and procedures.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and standards within the facility.
- Support the nursing team in various settings including ICU, hospital, nursing home, and home care environments.
- Educate staff on best practices related to patient care and safety.
Experience
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving medical records or nursing coordination.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to pediatrics, acute care, ICU, home care, and nursing homes is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with diverse teams and patients.
- A background in nursing or direct patient care is a plus.
