Duties
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently
- Utilize medical software systems for patient check-ins and scheduling. Trimed experience preferred but not required
- Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and transfer calls to appropriate personnel
- Perform clerical tasks including filing, faxing, and data entry
- Assist with insurance verification processes
- Review documentation for accuracy and completeness
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Strong clerical skills and proficiency in using phone systems
- Understanding of medical billing processes and coding is advantageous
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Detail-oriented with the ability to review documentation accurately
