- Assist your manager in developing and managing Special AzAmazing Events and Exclusive Tours globally, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional experiences.
- Create and maintain digital collateral, including event descriptions, contracts, pricing masters, and guest feedback reports.
- Build events and tours in internal systems, ensuring accurate and timely descriptions and imagery.
- Collaborate with inventory specialists to align inventory setup with deployment strategies.
- Analyze guest feedback and operational reports to inform decisions.
- Communicate events and tour details to internal and external stakeholders for promotional purposes.
- Support call centers, shipboard teams, and media teams with event and tour information.
- Develop training materials and deliver presentations for stakeholders.
- Support the planning and execution of site inspections and assist in conducting thorough quality assurance audits.
- Support RFP processes, manage tour operator onboarding, and ensure compliance with access/privacy protocols.
- Train new staff and assist with program reviews and competitive analyses.
- Handle invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to agreements.
- Stay informed of industry trends, regional events, and their potential impacts on operations.
- Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in event operations, planning, or tour program development.
- Familiarity with Azamara’s tour management systems (MXP experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of international destinations and cultural nuances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SharePoint/MS Teams, SmartSheet, PowerBI, and related tools.
- Exceptional communication, time management, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in English (second language such as Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, French, or German preferred).
- Skilled in handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Upholds confidentiality and demonstrates sound judgment.
