Major Responsibilities
- Adheres to standard of protocol of practice and insurance company for the patients
- Preform physical examination and health measurements within protocol/prescribed guidelines and instruction of Physician
- Be able to Order studies, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests
- To Discuss cases with Physician and/or other health professionals to best treat patients
- Be able to Triage patients (vitals, history, Insurance info)
- Submit health care plan and goals for patients
- To determine emergency versus non-emergency situation, surgical versus non-surgical situation
- Record physical findings and use of E.H.R. system
- Prescribe non-narcotic drugs
- Learn treatment procedures and be able to treat patients with scope of practice
- Be willing to treat adults and children
- Manage/supervise MA/LVN in regards to patient care needs
- Provide direct patient care within scope of the practice
- Willing to be BLS and ACLS certified
- Ability to Multi-task and work under pressure
As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will be integral in delivering high-quality patient care and performing essential medical procedures,reporting to the lead physician, you will utilize your core skills in patient assessment and EMR systems to effectively manage patient health.
Specifically treatment from skin to bone in Lower Extremity below the knee. Requires working in a clinical setting. The noise level is moderate and there is a potential for exposure to infectious diseases, wounds, wound-care, ingrown toenails, fractures, children, seniors, surgical patients, casts, and blood-borne pathogens, etc. The ability to stand and sit for hours at a time, (with some bending and stooping), ability to use manual dexterity in relation to clinical requirements, and ability to lift 30 lbs.

If you to accomplish more duties than just taking vitals and prescribing NSAID this is the place for you. You will never get bored we have diverse patient care and treatment.
