Overview
The Drug Test Collector plays a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of drug testing processes. This position involves collecting samples from individuals in a professional and respectful manner, while adhering to strict protocols and guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in clinical laboratory settings and possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and patients. Position will also be responsible for processing TSA fingerprinting services. Training and certifications are required and will be provided throughout first few weeks of employment.
Responsibilities
- Collect urine, saliva, hair and breath alcohol samples for drug testing in accordance with established protocols.
- Ensure proper identification and documentation of all samples collected.
- Maintain a clean and organized collection area, adhering to aseptic techniques at all times.
- Conduct preliminary screenings and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure compliance with testing procedures.
- Provide education to clients regarding the drug testing process and answer any questions they may have.
- Process fingerprinting services for TSA Pre-Check, HazMat and TWIC programs through verification of documents and collecting fingerprints as required.
Skills
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and sample handling.
- Experience working in clinical settings is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Qualifications:
- Must pass an extensive federal background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in drug and alcohol testing (preferred, but not required).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle potentially stressful situations with professionalism.
- Must be able to maintain an impartial and neutral stance in the collection process.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
