- Implement advanced statistical analysis (SPC, DOE, 6 Sigma tools) to identify and resolve manufacturing inefficiencies.
- Integrate quality data into company digitization efforts (currently in a stand-alone database.
2. Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions
- Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) processes, leading to a 30% reduction in customer complaints.
- Conduct data-driven Root Cause Analysis (RCA) using tools like 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, and 6M to eliminate recurring defects
3. Inspection & Quality Control Enhancements
- Develop and integrate automated inspection techniques to reduce manual errors and enhance defect detection rates by 25%.
- Establish standardized quality control procedures across all deck and rail production sites, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of quality standards.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

- Improve communication across teams, ensuring real-time integration of quality data to support faster decision-making.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Required).
- 5 years of experience in quality engineering management in a manufacturing environment.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (Preferred) or Green Belt certification.
- Expertise in ISO, Six Sigma, TQM, Continuous Improvement (CI), PDSA, and 5S methodologies.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several geographic markets. The annual salary for this position ranges from $121,000 in our lowest market up to $149,000 in our highest market, plus bonus, equity, and benefits as applicable.
