We are seeking a dedicated and organized Assistant Administrator to join our team. Responsibilities
- Manage office staff operations, assuring staff workflows and completion of their tasks are done timely and appropriately.
- Provide administrative support to various departments, ensuring smooth workflow.
- Assist with managing vacation and sick time schedules for staff and managing calendars for physicians.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide support via phone, email, or in-person interactions.
- Maintain organized filing systems and manage office supplies inventory.
- Support medical office tasks as needed, including patient check-ins and record management.
- Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and enhance overall efficiency.
- Eventually learn other processes the administrator currently does to include accounts payables, accounts receivables, payroll, physician credentialing, contract negotiations, manage office health benefits, vendor contracting, etc.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an office administration is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritize responsibilities effectively.
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or in customer support is advantageous.
- Familiarity with medical office duties is a plus.
- Proficient in using office software and equipment.
