About the Role: We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our sales team. We are open to either part-time or full-time with normal working hours between 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
Core Responsibilities
- Receive, process, and confirm customer orders accurately and promptly
- Act as a primary point of contact between customers and internal departments (e.g. production, engineering, quality, etc.)
- Respond to customer inquiries, providing up to date and accurate information on the status of their orders
- Collaborate with the Account Manager or other internal departments to address and resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and efficient manner
- Accurately document all customer interactions, orders, inquiries and issues
- Maintain clear, professional, and effective communication with both customers and internal teams
- Provide feedback to leadership regarding customer concerns, challenges, or areas for improvement
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet onsite visitors with professionalism and courtesy
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed such as data entry, scanning and filing
- Contribute to company goals and continuous improvement efforts
- Comply with established ISO standards and Aztalan's core values
- Adhere to regular and reliable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma, or equivalent, required
- Valid Driver’s License, required
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in manufacturing
- Must have highly accurate computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems
- Must have a strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and precision
- Must have strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Must have the ability to follow procedures
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities and requirements, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
