Job Summary
The HR Administrator/Bookkeeper will be responsible for payroll processing, benefits administration, and compliance reporting while ensuring accuracy and adherence to state and federal labor laws. Knowledge of DIR (Department of Industrial Relations) regulations, labor compliance, and certified payroll reporting is preferred. Experience with Paychex, LCP Tracker, Relations, and eComply software is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance
Process payroll using Paychex and generate certified payroll reports.
Ensure compliance with DIR and labor laws related to payroll and employee classification.
Manage labor compliance reporting and maintain accurate payroll records.
Oversee workers' compensation reporting and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
Utilize LCP Tracker, Relations, and eComply for payroll and labor compliance tracking.
HR & Benefits Administration
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance and 401(k) reporting.
Manage new hire onboarding, employee records, and compliance documentation.
Assist in policy development and enforcement to align with labor laws and company procedures.
Support employee relations by addressing HR inquiries and concerns.
Bookkeeping & Financial Support
Maintain accurate financial records related to payroll, benefits, and HR expenses.
Assist with audits and reporting requirements as needed.
Qualifications
Experience in HR, payroll processing, and bookkeeping.
Knowledge of DIR, labor compliance, and certified payroll reporting is preferred.
Familiarity with workers' compensation reporting and 401(k) administration.
Experience with Paychex, LCP Tracker, Relations, and eComply software preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
