What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drivers Education Instructor / Instructor Apprentice position at Azteca Driving School?
Responsibilities
- Clearly explain driving concepts, rules, and safety measures to students of varying backgrounds and ages in an online classroom.
- Instruct students on traffic laws and safe driving techniques
- Demonstrate patience and effective communication during lessons
- Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment for students

Requirements for instructors
- Must have an MVA instructor certification badge and a clean driving record
- Must be able to teach classroom lessons in-person Mondays-Fridays from 6pm to 9:15pm, remote teaching can be available later this year
- Experience in classroom management or working with students
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate students in the classroom
Expected hours: 15-30 hours a week (Note: full time is optional if doing behind-the-wheel training as well as classroom instruction.)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
Schedule:
- Choose your own hours
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
