What are the responsibilities and job description for the GENERAL LABOR position at AZTECA MILLING-DAWN, TX?
MUST BE AVAILABLE TO ROTATE SHIFTS. THIS POSITION REQUIRES ROTATION EVERY TWO WEEKS ON THE FOLLOWING WORK SCHEDULE: 7AM-3PM; 3PM-11PM; 11PM-7AM. IT IS A REQUIREMENT TO ROTATE EVERY TWO WEEKS.

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for cleaning the basic production area.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Daily job responsibilities/functions to include, but not limited to:
- Changes and cleans sifters, hydrasieves, proof sifters, etc.
- Responsible for exterior cleaning for all production equipment
- Responsible for interior cleaning of production buildings and area.
- Operates the corn cleaner, reprocesses flour and changes sifters.
- Measures flour silos.
- Provide lime to maceration area when necessary.
- Move flour to milling to be processed.
- Perform the reprocess by dumping flour from 50 lb. bags into reprocess bins.
- Miscellaneous duties as required by his supervisor.
- Employees holding this position will be required to perform any other job-related duties as requested by management such as working hours and general cleaning.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS:
§ Preferably able to read and write English/and or Spanish.
§ Able to use a hand calculator.
§ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures manuals.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:
§ Physical Requirements: Climbing, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, talking, hearing, vision, and repetitive motions.
§ Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and/or up to 20 lbs of force frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects.
§ Environmental Conditions: Both inside and outside environmental conditions, extreme cold, extreme heat, humidity, noise, vibration, and hazard.
§ Able to work in heights and climb/descend vertical ladders
