About the Role:
The Director of Hotel Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hotel, ensuring that all aspects of the property are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing multiple functional areas, making independent decisions to achieve business objectives, and working closely with the Executive Committee to drive results.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage employee relations, including interviewing, hiring, training, assigning work, coaching/counseling, and performance management
- Direct and coordinate hotel operations, including employees, maintenance, sales, and profit/loss controls
- Develop and implement strategies to improve hotel operations and increase revenue
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction and loyalty through effective customer service and communication
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to senior management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and products to guests
