Job Summary
We are looking for a talented Server to join our team at Bryce Canyon Pines Hotel. As a Server, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable dining experience for our guests. Key Responsibilities:
1. Greet guests in a welcoming and friendly manner
2. Take food and beverage orders
3. Describe menu items, ingredients, and methods of preparation
4. Clear and clean tables as needed
5. Ensure that minors and intoxicated persons are not served alcoholic beverages
6. Perform opening and closing procedures, and side work duties according to station rotation assignment
7. Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant area through disposing of all waste, clearing, and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down service and preparation areas
8. Participate in the deep cleaning of the outlet
9. Operate a cash register/POS and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card
10. Assist all guests professionally and courteously, with the highest quality of standards for customer service
11. All other duties assigned by manager or supervisor
Requirements
• High school or equivalent education required
• One to three years food service experience preferred
• Micros POS experience preferred
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol
• Safe Server Alcohol & Food Handlers certification required
