About the Role:
The Workplace Culture and Compliance Expert will be responsible for ensuring that the hotel's workplace culture aligns with the company's values and mission. This individual will also ensure that the hotel is compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations, including equal employment opportunity, labor laws, and workers' compensation
- Provide guidance and support to managers on workplace culture and compliance issues
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and implement training programs to enhance job skills and productivity
- Monitor and report on key metrics, including employee turnover, absenteeism, and productivity
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a hospitality industry setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends
