Project Manager / Technical SME

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Manager with cybersecurity, advanced computing, artificial intelligence, and research project experience to join our team. This position requires a US citizenship to be eligible to obtain a Public Trust. This position is contingent upon contract award. This is a direct hire. No third party please.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in program planning, review management, and program management of a portfolio of advanced cyberinfrastructure programs that use solicitations and announcements, receive proposals, conduct a merit review process, and award and manage grants and cooperative agreements.
• Manage cyberinfrastructure advisory committee meetings to include scheduling meetings, preparing meeting minutes, maintaining committee member information, maintaining and updating committee external SharePoint site.
• Work with agency leads and contracting officer representatives to understand requirements, processes, and systems.
• Manage monthly newsletters.
• Assist with preparing briefing packages, including visual presentations and newsletters, and assembling background materials to include any highlights from agency projects. Send out presentations to appropriate audiences after meetings.
• Provide support in panelist recruiting; aid Program Officers in finding new reviewers through the use of multiple methods, including the administration of reviewer surveys, curating resulting data, and coordinating the use of those resources.
  
  

Education:

• Master’s degree in science, engineering, or mathematics, preferably in computer or information science/engineering fields
• Equivalent experience and/or certifications in project management or communications are acceptable in leu of a master’s degree
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Ten or more years of experience in project management with proven business acumen in managing complex projects
• Experience in communications
• Knowledge advanced computing, data and software infrastructure, networking capabilities, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
